Great is Thy Faithfulness Toward Us

 Great is the Lord, who is worthy to be praised. We are ever so grateful for the Lord’s grace and mercy. We know, in Christ sinners become saints, in Him failures become victories and the common is made holy. When we yield to God’s will and way, He molds us into more than we could ever imagine.

Jeremiah 3:15 says, “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” As pastors we take on the shepherd’s role. Our mission has been to seek after the Lord with all our heart, so that when he feed us His knowledge and understanding, we may in turn feed and lead His flock.  It has always been our hearts desire and belief, to be pastors according to the Word of God for the past forty plus years. 

I want to first give thanks to my lovely wife of fifty one plus  years.  Ministry has not always been easy, nor has it always been beautiful. But thanks be to God for my wife who has been next to me every step of the way.  As a woman of God, full of resilience and love she has been willing to share me with so many people. God knows exactly who to join and the task to lay before them. Thank you, my love, for your support, advise, words of encouragement, and scriptures to help me push. Thank you for even being willing to correct me when I am in error. Honey, you are a virtuous woman and a “rare jewel”, I thank God for you daily. I love you and I cherish you!

Now, we give thanks for our children and spouses who have chosen even in adulthood to support and help build our Ministry. It is our hopes that the legacy that me and your mother have started, which is being rooted and grounded in Christ, will continue. We pray that our faithfulness, dedication and fervent fire for the Lord is passed on for generations to come. It is our desire for you all to enlarge his Kingdom, through the gifts and calling he has placed on your lives. Grandchildren, we adore you for the works that you too have started, we pray that you all will continue working unto the Lord and allow Him to guide you on the path he has chosen for you. We love all of you!

Finally, to our extended families, members and friends we are grateful for your support, and prayers during our times of ministry. Your faithfulness will not go unrewarded. You are a great group of people who have been there for us during good and difficult times. Even through transitions your support has been commendable. Your worth to us is unmeasurable. Throughout the years you have demonstrated your love to us in so many different and unique ways. You have shared with us in times of joys, sorrows, works, toils and rewards. For this, we are forever grateful. Thank you for forgiving us in any error and holding us up with your prayers before the Lord and through His Grace, we have overcome.  For this, we are eternally grateful.  We encourage you to stay passionate about Christ and building his kingdom, so that in all things he will receive the glory, honor and praise.

In closing we declare the words of the hymn “Great is Thy Faithfulness”:

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.


Great is Thy faithfulness!

Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
