Minister Willie Richard Davis
Willie Richard Davis also known as Rick was born in Tallahassee, FL to the late Bishop Willie H. Davis and Edith Davis. He later moved to Orlando at the age of 7. Rick accepted the Lord in his life at a very young age and became a member of Tallahassee Dade St. Church of God of Prophecy under the leadership of Bishop T. R. Beckwith.
On March 8, 1985 Bro. Rick received the Holy Ghost during a 40 day fast that their church was partaking in. He served as a member of Winter Garden East Bay St. Church of God of Prophecy under the leadership of his father, the late Bishop Willie H. Davis, for over 30 years in the capacity of usher, drummer, V.L.B. director, B.T.I. director and Sunday School Superintendent.
On July 8, 2004 he was joined in matrimony to the love of his life, Natasha Williams. To his union four children were joined as one family Alicia, Kortni, Willie and Kenneth.
In 2006 Rick his family transferred their membership to Orlando Orange Center Church of God of Prophecy under the leadership of Bishop Cornelius Williams, where he has served as sound booth operator, Bible Study teacher, Sunday school teacher and Men’s Ministries Director. Rick has also served in our church camping ministry for 30 years and served in various capacities and positions.
Rick and Natasha continue to support each other in their various ministries. Where you see one working, the other is not too far away.
Rick has been employed for over 25 years with Orange County Public Schools as a math teacher, former administrative dean, basketball coach and track coach. He has always had a love for youth and desiring them to take advantage of the opportunities given them.
Rick loves the Lord and his goal in life is to be found in God’s perfect will, through servanthood to those over him. No job does he consider too small to do in the kingdom of God. His desire is to let the work he’s done speak for him.
