Aurelius De’Aire Williams, Sr.

Aurelius De'Aire Williams, Sr. was born March 4, 1972 in Orlando, Florida to Bishop Cornelius and Hazel Williams. Aurelius is the eldest of four siblings. He attended elementary, Jr. high and high school in Orange County, Florida. Aurelius is a graduate of West Orange High School.

During his Jr. High school years he accepted the Lord in his life and joined Orange Center COGOP, where Bishop Cornelius Williams serves as the Pastor. In his preteen years he served as his Pastor’s armor bearer, musician, choir member, Sunday school secretary and youth group member. He remained a faithful member until graduating from high school in 1990.

September of 1990 Aurelius left home to serve his country in the United States Army. There he served as a Combat Medical Specialist until 1994, when he received an honorable discharge.

Upon his return home he was reunited with his first love, Stephanie Fitzgerald. They were joined in matrimony on February 9, 1996. They are parents to five children Trenton, Brittni, Aurelius Jr., Samari and Serenity.

Aurelius has continued in federal service for 22 years since leaving the U.S. Army. He has held several positions during his tenure and currently holds the position of Program Management Officer for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

He and his wife continue to faithfully attend Orange Center COGOP and both serve in leadership roles. Aurelius has continued to flourish spiritually, accepting various appointments over the years such as Youth Leader, Sunday School teacher, and as the local choir director. During each of his appointments he has fallen more and more in Love with Christ.

Sensing a calling on his life, in 2015, he publicly accepted the call to preach the gospel. Although being a Pastor’s son, it was not the legacy that brought him to this place. It was a desire to live a life for Christ , a promise to do what the Lord had created him for, which is serve Him and Him alone, and to preach Christ’s Love, Kingdom and His soon return.
